MEET: Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 pm COMING EVENTS: Summer 2010- Big Stuff trip to Panama City, FL |
United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) consists of youth, 6th to
12th grade. Goals for Embury's Youth Group: 1. To minister to the heart, mind and soul of each youth. 2. To help each youth develop and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 3. To expand the youth's knowledge of the Bible and its truth through Sunday School and Wednesday night youth meetings (meetings held 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday evenings) 4. To provide 'hands on' opportunities for service and outreach in the community and beyond. 5. To provide a positive environment for the youth to express themselves and their love of Christ through drama and music.

School has begun and
Embury's Youth Group is going well. We are continuing to learn
and congregate on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm.
This past month, several of us girls went to see a movie, Bandslam, and had a great time! Also, we are planning on going to Putt-Putt some time soon, as well as doing some fundraising events to prepare for BigStuff next summer. BigStuff is a Christian camp in Panama City Beach, FL that all of the youth love attending. They were not able to go this past Summer but have demanded that we start going again next Summer. Look forward to Youth sponsored events throughout the year in preparation for BigStuff!
